Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters are more environmentally friendly than standard hot water tanks for two reasons:
1. Tankless is more energy efficient. Electric tankless heaters are 99% efficient. The natural gas and LP tankless heaters that we sell are above 90% efficient. Common hot water tank heaters such as this one are only about 60% efficient.

2. Tankless uses less materials to manufacture. A whole house electric tankless water heater weighs about 17 lbs. Point of use units weigh less than 5 lbs. Hot water tanks weigh around 120 lbs! That's a lot of extra steel, copper and other raw materials that must be mined, using more of our planet's energy.
